Dr. Robert (Buzz) Edelburg
An accomplished chiropractor since 2000, Dr. Robert "Buzz" Edelburg has been honing his craft and understanding of the body’s alignment and movement for over 25 years. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Dr. Edelburg began his journey into the healing arts as a certified massage therapist specializing in Cranio-sacral Therapy, Myofascial Release Therapy and Reiki energy healing. His rewarding years as a massage therapist had a natural evolution toward his doctoral journey, beginning with his pre-med studies at Wright College in Chicago. Dr. Edelburg went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2000 from the Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, which included his year of residency at the college’s outpatient clinic.
Dr. Edelburg’s clients rave about his healing abilities, easy demeanor and close attention to his clients’ needs. He has many techniques in his skill set with a base foundation in Diversified Adjusting Technique. Much of Dr. Edelburg’s success is attributed to the specificity of his chiropractic adjustments. As an extension of his work in complementary body therapies and his holistic views of the alignment of mental, physical and spiritual well-being. In 2002, Dr. Edelburg purchased the Palm Springs practice from Dr. Steve Oliver, his former Dean at Western States Chiropractic College and created Edelburg Chiropractic and Wellness Center. The Wellness Center's success took off immediately and inevitably created a need for expansion. In 2009 the business grew from a 2 room facility to a 10 room multi-disciplinary therapeutic center: Palm Springs Healing Center. Today the Healing Center continues to evolve. We always look forward to adding services and new therapists to our practice.

We are proud to announce the addition of a new Chiropractor to the Palm Springs Healing Center. Dr. Scott Redfern brings with him 27 years of clinical experience. He uses a variety of diversified techniques that are almost identical to Dr. Edelburg. He is a very warm and caring doctor who is thorough, conscientious and detailed by nature.
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his doctorate degree from Northwestern Health Science University in 1990. Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
I am a licensed acupuncturist and clinical herbalist, and I hold a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I graduated with honors from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA. My work and studies stem from a deep desire to assist people in overcoming physical and emotional challenges to improve their health and well-being.
Using primarily acupuncture and traditional herbal formulas, I facilitate your path to healing, overall health and mind/body well-being.
When appropriate, next-level personalized care is achieved through the use of adjunct therapies including nutritional counseling, massage, breathwork and hypnosis. Combining these modalities can ultimately enhance your body's natural healing process.
In addition to my clinical experience in acupuncture and medicinal herbs, I have been leading private and corporate retreats since 1993 involving team-building, fire-walking workshops and risk and results trainings. I have been practicing as a licensed massage therapist since 1997 and have been offering hypnotherapy since 1993. I have taught meditation to patients undergoing cancer therapies in New York City as well as teaching a weekly breathwork class in the desert for participants of a total body detox program.
When I'm not in the clinic I can be found in the great outdoors of the wilderness, ocean or mountains. I have a great love of adventure and travel. In the spring and summer of 1997 I traveled by kayak from Vancouver Island in British Columbia to Juneau, Alaska in an epic experience of waves, wind, rain, joy and dynamic growth.
Your path to greater health awaits.
